Book of Hours Silk Scarf

This silk chiffon scarf is long, feather-light, and beautifully soft with imagery based on illustrations found in copies of the Book of Hours. These medieval manuscripts were embellished with intricate borders and initial letters depicting flowers and leaves, vines and tendrils, buds and berries.  Books of Hours can be found in the Getty Museum collection.
